Rafflesia, the world’s largest flower, is a rare parasitic plant also known as the “corpse flower” due to its unpleasant smell. Its blooms can reach 1 meter in diameter and weigh up to 10 kg. Despite its impressive size, each Rafflesia plant produces only one flower in its lifetime, with a brief blooming period. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List classifies Rafflesia magnifica as “Critically Endangered.”
